ZR 17MW is an entry-level Hand-Crafted mid-woofer with the sound-stage of a High-End speaker. It was specially designed to be very simple to use.

This speaker is ideal for people who don't have a lot of knowledge about the electro- acoustic field, because it has a great sound regardless of the configuration of the system. Its uniqueness is also that you can easily get great sound in small boxes.

ZR 17 MW has a very deep and controlled bass because of the soft mechanical clamping (rubber surround-spider) and firm cone made from fiberglass. The cone is impregnated with two different mineral coatings which give the speaker softer sound in the mid-range of the acoustic spectrum. Two coatings also decrease a break-up of the cone and eliminate parasitic resonances. This results in great transients, natural sound and deeper sound-stage.

Dust-cap is made from Kevlar and further reinforced with aluminum ring. This strengthens the cone in its neck area. Besides the mechanical advantages it also widens the mid-high range (up to 8000Hz), and make the sound more dispersed.

This speaker is a perfect match with the ZR Entry 25 T, but it also sounds great with other speakers. The quality of sound that ZR Entry 17MW produces simply cannot be matched by any other speaker in this price-range.
