To give the speaker more natural sound, each cone is impregnated with several layers of specially designed mineral coatings. Each coating is independently developed by ZR Speaker Lab to suit each particular speaker model. Most of the time, more than one coating is necessary to achieve the perfect results. With the use of correct coating it is possible to eliminate undesired characteristics of the cone such as parasitic resonances, distortions etc.
